Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, making it easy to lose direction. Through counselling, I provide a safe and supportive space to explore difficulties, rebalance perspectives, and foster positive change.
I believe everyone has the potential for growth. My approach is non-judgmental and collaborative, helping individuals and couples navigate relationships, emotions, and self-discovery with clarity and confidence.
No matter your background, faith, or circumstances, you deserve to feel heard and supported. If you’re looking for a space to heal and move forward, I’m here to help.
Practice Description
I offer face to face sessions in my therapy room based in Old Woking, and my Walk & Talk Ecotherapy sessions in many of the beautiful areas here in Surrey (weather & conditions permitting). I also provide online sessions via the video platform Zoom to clients locally, countrywide and globally.
Therapy sessions are available to both couples and individuals [18+] who are experiencing difficulties in their lives and/or in their relationships with a variety of presenting issues. I am client led so sessions are not limited and can be long or short-term depending on what is required.
Appointments will normally be held at the same time on a weekly basis, as attending weekly sessions enables our work together to be at its most effective. Counselling and Psychotherapy can help by exploring the root cause of issues, finding new strategies and coping mechanisms will often help to improve life dramatically.
Therapies Offered
Individual therapy helps you explore emotional behavioural and relational patterns allowing you to understand the root causes of your challenges using an holistic, integrated approach I tailor our work to suit your individual needs, considering emotional physical and environmental factors, therefore supporting your overall well-being.
My integrative approach to relationship therapy provides a safe, supportive space for couples or families to improve their interpersonal connections and romantic relationships. You may foster effective communication skills, express emotions and needs more openly, therefore, creating healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Walk and talk therapy offers a less formal setting by utilising the benefits of being outside in nature. Combining exercise and therapy can encourage individuals to be more physically active for mental and physical reasons, it can also help confront difficult issues and can enable creative deeper ways of thinking often released by mood improving physical exercise.
Online and telephone therapy tends to offer more flexibility as you can access your sessions from anywhere in the world and it does not impose physical barriers or boundaries to accessing therapy. This can be particularly useful if mobility and/ or travel is an issue. You will need access to a device, the Internet, and a quiet confidential space so you are able to speak openly and freely.
Whatever approach to therapy you choose, short and long term therapy can be offered. Short-term therapy tends to work with a specific goal in mind. Whereas long-term therapy tends to work at a deeper level, where perhaps a long-time issue or issues are what you’re struggling with.
